At the call of GO, athletes will begin their buy-in of 50 double-/single-unders. After completing the double-/single-unders athletes may begin their snatch for max load. Athletes will be allowed as many attempts as they want within the six minute time cap. Athletes must declare weights to judges before each attempt. Weight can be added or taken away as needed.
At the 3:00 minute mark, athletes will be required to complete 50 additional double-/single-unders.
Athletes may finish their snatch after the 3 minute mark or the 6 minute cap as long as the attempt has begun (plates off the floor) before the cap
MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Snatch
The barbell begins on the ground and must be lifted overhead in one motion.
At the top, the barbell must come to full lockout overhead, with the hips, knees and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over or slightly behind the middle of the body.
Any style of snatch is permitted.
Only the athlete’s foot may be in contact with the ground.
Double-Unders
This is the standard double-under in which the rope passes under the feet twice for each jump.
The rope must spin forward for the rep to count.
Only successful jumps are counted, not attempts.
Single-Unders
This is the standard single-under in which the rope passes under the feet once for each jump.
The rope must spin forward for the rep to count.
Only successful jumps are counted, not attempts.
