Event 24.9 – NorKalsu

For time:

100 thrusters
*ring muscle ups at the start and at the top of every minute.

Minutes 1-3 athletes complete 3 ring muscle ups
Minutes 4-6 athletes complete 2 ring muscle ups
Minutes 7-10 athletes complete 1 ring muscle ups

Elite/RX/35-49: ♀ 95 ♂ 135
16-17/50+ ♀ 75 ♂ 115, 1 ring muscle up
Intermediate: ♀ 75 ♂ 115, 3 ring pull ups
Scaled/Novice/14-15: ♀ 65 ♂ 95, 3 toes to rings

At the call of “GO”, athletes will complete 3 ring muscle ups. Any remaining time in the first minute, athletes will accumulate thrusters. At the 1:00 minute mark, athletes must complete 3 muscle ups before accumulating any additional thrusters. This pattern will continue every minute on the minute until the athlete completes 100 thrusters or time expires. On minute 4 the required ring muscle ups will change to 2 repetitions and at minute 7 to 1 repetition.

The athlete’s score will either be the time it takes to complete 100 thrusters or the total number of thrusters completed in 10 minutes. If at any time, the athlete fails to complete the ring muscle ups in the designated minute, the event is complete.
